The Kanayama Photo Club was founded in 1960 by photography enthusiasts based in Hida-Kanayama.
Twice a year, the club organizes photo trips, not only exploring local scenery but also visiting nearby landmarks to enjoy photography together.
Members also submit their printed works for review and critique by instructors, including officials from the All-Japan Association of Photographic Societies, gaining valuable feedback and advice to improve their skills.
